Each bottle represents the realization of Dave Pickerell’s five promises, epitomizing WhistlePig’s journey to unlock the full potential of rye whiskey. A Unique Collaboration The Boss Hog Edition 六 is the first American whiskey finished using Japanese Umeshu, resulting from a true collaboration between WhistlePig and Kitaya brewery on Japan’s Kyushu island. This well-aged Straight Rye Whiskey was created using koji fermentation, a technique pioneered in the American whiskey industry over a century ago by Jōkichi Takamine, whose likeness adorns each bottle. The intricate flavors and meticulous craftsmanship make it a standout addition to any collection.
