Johnnie Walker King George V pays tribute to the event with a blended Scotch that's crafted with hand-selected whiskies from distilleries that were operational during his reign. This means that some of the rarest casks from their reserves were used ― including whisky from Port Ellen distillery known for its sweet smokiness. Tasting Notes
The nose is sweet and smoky with orange zest, raisin, fig, and cinnamon aromas. Look for dried fruit, spice, vanilla, fruit, chocolate, toffee, and hints of nuts on the palate. The finish is long with a touch of smoke.
