This Valentine's Day Gift Set contains the Joven tequila, as well as a selection of chocolate. Producing an extremely smooth palate, the Joven was named the "Tastemakers' Top Tequila" by Forbes Magazine. The small-batch 100% blue agave spirit is a blend of silver and extra aged tequila that is rested in new American oak. The tequila is joined in the elegant blue gift box by 3 single-origin, small-batch chocolates from Ecuador, Colombia, and Belize. Each of these pairs differently with the spirit, the first bringing sweetness, tart cherry, herbs, juniper, spice, and anise notes. The Colombian chocolate brings cinnamon, black pepper, and cayenne to the table, while the Belizean chocolate has tropical, pear, and citrus notes.
Tasting Notes
Floral and citrusy aromas greet the nose with a sweet agave note. It's rich & soft on the palate with vanilla, spice, and pear notes. The finish is clean, bright, and warm with a touch of nuttiness.
