A distillery boasting a rich history involving Colonel Blanton, who served as the distillery’s president until the early fifties, and Elmer T. Lee, who worked as his clerk and eventually became a Master Distiller himself. Elmer recalled how Blanton would meticulously select the best barrels from the warehouse to entertain his illustrious company and bottle each barrel individually. Tasting Notes
The nose features subtle vanilla and oak aromas, followed by a sweet and spicy palate of citrus, caramel and oak flavors. It finishes on a light allspice note, with a medium length and a smooth exit.
